General Guidelines for All Garments

• Wash before first use using a gentle, baby-safe detergent
• Always turn garments inside out before washing to protect prints
• Wash with similar colors to avoid color transfer
• Use cold or lukewarm water (max 30°C)
• Use gentle or delicate wash cycle only
• Do not soak, scrub, or wring the fabric
• Air dry in shade to preserve color and softness
• Use a low-heat iron, and never iron directly over prints

Fabric-Specific Instructions

1. Single Jersey Cotton

Used in Littleseeds T-shirts - Lightweight and breathable for all-day comfort.

• Wash in cold water using a mild detergent
• Preferably machine wash on gentle or hand wash
• Slight shrinkage may occur naturally after first wash
• Avoid twisting; gently reshape and lay flat to dry
• Iron inside out using low heat

2. Interlock Cotton

Used in Littleseeds joggers, rompers, and co-ord sets - Softer and thicker than jersey with natural stretch.

• Machine wash on delicate cycle in cold to lukewarm water
• Avoid overloading the machine to reduce friction
• Air dry flat to maintain shape and softness
• Do not tumble dry or use fabric softeners
• Iron gently inside out if required

3. Loopknit Cotton

Used in select Littleseeds sweatshirts and lounge sets - Cozy cotton with tiny loops on the inside for extra warmth and cushion.

• Machine or hand wash in cold water only
• Avoid heavy-duty cycles — use gentle wash only
• Never use bleach or hot water (loop fibers can shrink)
• Always dry flat in the shade to retain loop texture
• Do not wring or stretch, as it may affect loop structure
• Light steam or inside-out ironing recommended

Things to Avoid

• Bleach, whitening agents, or stain removers
• Fabric softeners, especially for Loopknit or Interlock
• Tumble drying, especially on high heat
• Scrubbing or soaking for long durations
• Ironing over prints or embroidery directly

Special Tips for Babywear

• Wash baby garments separately from adult clothes
• Use fragrance-free, non-toxic detergents
• Always double rinse to eliminate detergent residue
• For potty-training kids, pre-soak soiled garments in mild soap
